Ryan is all settled back at home. We have been to Texas Children's twice so far. We went on Tuesday of last week to meet his doctor and get acquainted with the clinic. On Thursday we went down again for Ryan's treatment. He is going to be getting weekly lumbar punctures for the first 4 weeks at least of this phase to be able to get one of the medications placed directly into his spinal fluid. While we were at Texas Children's last week the doctor talked to us about the results from the testing that was done on January 21st prior to us leaving Pennsylvania. All of the test results looked great and Ryan is considered to be in remission. He will still need to continue the full course of chemo treatment to make sure that there is no rogue cancer cells anywhere. He will finish the whole treatment in the summer of 2028. At Texas Children's when he is having the lumbar puncture done, they have an option for him where he can get nitrous oxide (Laughing gas) to help with the procedure instead of going to the Operating Room for it. Ryan tried that last time and he really loved the laughing gas! He was pretty funny and even had the doctor and nurses laughing. Jesse and I are so thankful for how wonderful they are there with Ryan. Everyone has been so kind and patient with him and do everything they can to make this as easy and pain free as possible for him. He has been feeling pretty good. He is definitely tired and seems to run out of energy around dinner time every night. He has had a little nausea, but we've been managing it with the medications and they have been helping.
